Hello Everyone! My name is Carolyn Quin Alexander, I have been a registered nurse for 22 years. I have worked in many different areas and levels of nursing starting as an intern in the Emergency Room of an acute care hospital, telemetry, oncology, ICU, medical-surgical, orthopedics, infection control, research, education, interventional radiology, and transplant to a chief clinical officer in long term acute care, just to name a few.  I chose to pursue the administrative track of executive nursing over 10 years ago achieving a Master of Science in Nursing as well as a Master of Business Administration.  After working in positions that required that I provide medical records review, care and risk management, compliance, performance management in addition to responding as an expert witness, and reviewing claims for attorneys based off of my experience, I decided to start my own independent journey as a nurse paralegal/legal nurse consultant and cannot begin to explain how excited I am!  I can’t wait to discuss topics ranging from clinical outcomes, standards of care, healthcare policy, state and government guidelines, to legislative changes effecting health care in the US and globally.
